P4 teams take centre stage in Mini Soccer League

THE latest round of matches in the Ballymena Invitation Mini Soccer League took place on Saturday afternoon.

Teams from the P4 age group took part in the latest instalment of fixtures in the popular league, which is designed to give youngsters some game time in a fun atmosphere.

A total of eight teams took part in Saturday’s action which once again took place on the 3G surface at Ballymena Showgrounds, using a seven-a-side format.

Teams from Carniny Youth, Ballymena Youth Academy, Kells & Connor Cougars and Antrim Rovers thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The league continues this Saturday, June 8, at the same venue starting again at 2pm, this time with the P5 age group.

Teams due to take part this Saturday are: Ballymena Town; Ballymena United; Kells & Connor Cougars; Antrim Rovers; Star United; Carniny Youth; Carniny Amateurs; Carniny Colts; and Carniny Pumas.

Teams should make themselves aware of all latest information on the league website at ballymenaminisoccer.org.uk. The onus is on competing teams to keep themselves aware on what is required of them when playing in the league.
