Lisburn let a 10 hole advantage slip in the Sam Rutherford at Banbridge. They were 15 holes down when the first three matches were completed. The fourth match was called in with three holes remaining.

They were at home to Rockmount in the first leg of the Ulster Fourball match. Four of the five matches were decided on the last green. Michael McNeice holed from 12 feet for a half to give him and Mark Coburn victory by one hole. Barry McQuillan and Bob Patterson combined well to win on the 17th green. Billy Friers holed from six feet to secure a half and give him and Jason Smiley victory by one hole. Philip Stewart played a magnificent chip close to the flag at 18 to enable him and Alan Gilmore to win one up. Eddie Rowan had a short putt on the treacherous 17th green to win 2 and 1. He missed it and the return putt to lose the hole. Playing with Des Kerr they salvaged a half at 18 to win one up.

There was a three way tie in the Sam Wilson Trophy for the over 55s. Lewis Darragh (10), Des Magill (28) and Michael Leathem (4) all scored 38. Lewis had 19 points on the front nine despite a ‘ding’ at the 5th. Des Magill (28) had 20 points on the front nine but with a seven, four finish could only muster 18 on the back nine. Micheal Leathem (4) reached the turn in 35 for 21 points. He could not recover from a double bogey six at 11 and scored 17 on the back nine. This left Lewis as the winner with Des second and Michael third.
