Success for Buchanan twins
Ballyclare twins Adam and Anna Buchanan (9) won their respective age group categories at the recent Don Patterson Juvenile Golf Competition staged at Warrenpoint Golf Club.
Adam has been playing golf for a few years now and in May he finished with a top-10 position in the U.S Kids’ European Championships in Scotland.
He is coached by Johnny Foster at JFGA, Greenacres. Newtownabbey Borough Council have also provided him with support for his travel expenses.
Sister Anna has only started playing golf and this was her first competition. Both attend Fairview Primary School and are going into Primary 6 in September.
