The green, green grass of Galgorm as NI Open looms

Banbridge based Coburn’s, who provide the grass seed and fertilisers to maintain the course at Galgorm Castle, are working in partnership with Head Greenkeeper David Snoddy to ensure conditions are perfect when the high profile European Challenge Tour tees off on 28th August.

“The course needs to be in prime condition for such a prestigious tournament which, building on last year’s success, is sure to be a hugely positive event for the whole of Northern Ireland.

“Whilst the NI Open will showcase our world class golfing talent – we’re hoping the fabulous course will also remind spectators from across the globe why this part of the world is called the Emerald Isle!” said William Cartmill.
