Good cup win for Priorians

PRIORIANS Firsts brought their season back on track with a convincing 4-2 win over visitors Armagh Seconds, at St Columbs Park, on Saturday.

This victory will give the team a lot of confidence as they continue their league programme against Kilkeel this week.

Despite considerable pressure by the home side it was 20 minutes before captain Bronagh Doherty opened the scoring.

The visitors hit back immediately scoring a goal within a few minutes to equalise.

Armagh Seconds shocked Priorians by going in front just before half-time to give them a 2-1 lead at the break.

Ten minutes into the second half Netty Wilson levelled the score following a well worked move.

The move started with a counter attack from an interception by Kristel Brown following a series of passes the ball came to Emma Sproule and she delivered an accurate pass to Netty Wilson who levelled the scores.

Priorans will be pleased with this whole team performance and the Player of the match was Kristel Brown.
