Hilden are almost safe in the league
Shorts were at the foot of the table and the Hilden win takes them comfortably clear of the bottom four or five teams.
Hilden B took 5.5 points away to Cavehill B on Tuesday night in Private Greens Junior 2.
Both Hilden teams had a bye on Saturday.

Hide AdLagan Valley’s depressing season took a lift on Saturday when they won by three shots at home to Newry and took six points in NIBA Division 5.
Two threes helped Jim Kinkead to a 9-7 lead at the tenth and Valley pulled away after that to win by seven shots.
A three enabled George Murdoch to lead 10-8 at the tenth and 19-14 at 17 ends and Valley held on to win by two shots.
A five at the tenth brought Brett Kirk to 8-9 but Valley were 11-19 down at 17 endsand lost by 13 shots.

Hide AdA six helped Jeff Fawcus to a 15-8 lead at the tenth and 20-13 at 16 ends before Valley won by seven shots.

After a frustrating season Malone were happy to take six points and a six shot win away from Belfast in Private Greens Senior 2.
In a closely fought game Frazer Thompson had the largest win by six shots and there were single shot successes for Terry Monro and Irvine McKay, with David Nelson only losing by two shots.

John is the only winner

John Campbell was the only Finaghy winner when they lost by 28 shots away to Antrim in NIBA Division 4.
He got home by a shot, 23-22 in a high scoring game, but Trevor Flack lost another high scoring game by a shot, 21-22.
Greg Peacock lost by two shots but the damage was done when J. Cairnduff lost by 26 shots.
