Hilden disappoint at Shaftesbury but win tie

Keith Morrison got the win, by six shots and Raymond Gourley tied.

Howard lost by four shots but there was a 12 shots defeat for Trevor Gray.

Hilden gained two points from a home Private Greens Division 2 match against Cliftonville on Tuesday night.

There were only two shots separating the teams at the finish, but Hilden just lost out.

Keith Morrison was the main winner with Trevor Gray also getting a win, but there were defeats for Raymond Gourley and Jonathan McMullan.

Hilden avenged that League defeat by Cliftonville in the League when they won by nine shots away in the second round of the Private Greens Senior Cup.

Trevor Gray and Jonathan McMullan were the winners on this occasion.

Hilden bowlers hold quiz night for RAMS

Hilden Bowling Club are holding a quiz night to raise funds for the RAMS Therapy Centre (Race Against Multiple Sclerosis) on Friday, June24 at 8pm in the clubhouse.

Teams should have approximately six people. There will be a ballot and prizes will be awarded to the winning quiz team.

The cost will be £5 per team member.
