The popular event also proved a winner for charity with £532 raised for the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

In a strong field including current Northern Ireland individuals champion Roy Montgomery and current Northern Ireland Masters champion Kyle McKinstry, the 40 players had to first navigate the tricky group stages with the top two in each group progressing to the last 16 knock-out stages.

The field slowly began to whittle down and as the semi-finals were reached both games did not disappoint with a final leg decider settling both.

This set up the final that many had forecast between Kyle and Roy with Kyle coming out on top to claim the Jubilee Cup for the second year in a row.

Results: Final - Kyle McKinstry 5 (12, 14, 15, 19, 21 darts, 164 checkout) v 2 Roy Montgomery (18, 18 darts, 152 checkout).

Semi-finals - Kyle McKinstry 4-3 Darren Carson; Roy Montgomery 4 -3 Dylan Woolsey.

Beaten quarter-finalists: Gordon Jackson, Nathan McCabe, Jamie Serplus and Chris Cinnamond.
