Last gasp point thwarts Armagh fightback
Niall Grimley thought he has rescued a point for Kieran McGeeney’s side who had made a superb comeback to tie the scores but Danny Savage struck an injury time winning point for the visitors.
McGeeney gave first starts of the season to goalkeeper Paddy Morrison, Brendan Donaghy and Oisin MacIomhair.

Morrison did well to save a goalbound shot from Madine but McBrearty latched onto the rebound and chalked up a point. Armagh’s Ethan Rafferty then replied with a point.
Forker levelled matters the score but with 34 minutes played UUJ struck their second goal.
Niall McConville began the Armagh revival in the second half with two unanswered points and the good work continued with points from Miceal McKenna, Rafferty and Forker before that late score denied them a draw.
