PREPARATIONS are already under way for The Matt McFerran Memorial Cup.

Matt unfortunately lost his life nearly a year ago. The Dunloy lad played a big part over the years for Riada Soccer School and Dunloy FC.

In his memory his ex-team mates from Riada Soccer School will play Dunloy FC in a pre-season friendly at Dunloy Playing Fields on Tuesday 3 August at 7pm.

We would encourage all ex Riada Soccer School members and Dunloy residents to come along to remember Matt.

On the same evening there will be a quiz after the match at the Bridge Bar Dunloy for everyone to come along. The proceeds from the quiz will go towards local Dunloy man and Ballymoney United player Duane 'Pixie' Scott who tragically got his leg broken at the end of last season.
