SCHOOLS' RUGBY: Wallace High lift Subsidiary Shield after win over Down High
Two tries in the first half paved the way for Wallace to win the Danske Bank Schools’ Subsidiary Shieldagainst Down High School at Kingspan Stadium.
Scrum half Jonny Stewart opened the scoring for the Lisburn School with a sixth minute penalty but was of target with another shot at goal four minutes later.

Hide AdStewart got the games first try on 22 minutes after Wallace had kicked a penalty to touch and after the forwards had drove close to the line the pivot picked up and went over and he converted his own try.
Wallace went into the break with a 15-0 lead following their second try in first half injury time, Winger Josh Cardori made a break he offloaded to full back Kyle Hayes before he switched the ball inside to centre Johnny Hunter to go over but Stewart was unable to convert.
Stewart increased the Lisburn School’s lead six minutes after the restart with a penalty from in front of the posts.
Stewart landed another penalty on 49 minutes to take his personal tally to 16 points.

Hide AdDown got their on score 56 minutes, they kicked a penalty to touch, from a catch and drive at the lineout a gap appeared in the Wallace defence and prop Harry McCormick charged through it to touch down but centre Charlie Power failed with the conversion.
