St Louis claim place in All-Ireland hurling final
The Cullybackey Road boys reached the final of the Paddy Buggy Cup All-Ireland final after a superb 2-14 to 2-6 victory over St Raphaels College, Loughrea (Galway) in Saturday’s semi-final.
Roared on by a large crowd, St Louis were five points to the good at the interval, thanks to a goal from Ciaran Elliott.

That included a Conal Cunning goal where he burst past three defenders before firing into the net for his side’s second goal.
Loughrea battled hard to get back into the game with a couple of scores but they never really threatened St Louis’ passage into the final on Easter Monday in Thurles when they meet Abbey CBS from Tipperary.
It completed a memorable few days for the St Louis squad, who won the School Sporting Performance category at the recent Ballymena Sports Awards.
