Tandem cycling festival returns to Lisburn this summer

Suitable for all tandem pairs, though specially designed to allow blind and partially sighted people the chance to experience tandem cycling.

There is a two mile circuit available which is great for absolute beginners and those getting started.

The 10 mile circuit allows cyclists to push themselves a bit harder, or complete the 10 mile circuit three times for a 30-mile leg burner

Cyclists will start and finish at Gowdy’s, 60 Gravelhill Road, Lisburn, BT27 5RW, beside the Down Royal Racecourse.

Registration from 9.30am. Start of ten mile route 10.00am and two mile route 10.30am.

Following the cycling there will be a light lunch and entertainment at Gowdy’s.
