The Cookstown Parocial bowler emerged triumphant from an initial field of 210 competitors who started the tournament, which this year celebrated its 20th anniversary.

In a very tight and hard fought final he ultimately triumphed over Dixon Ruthledge, from Sixmilecross, by the narrow margin of eight shots to six.

Trimby was the early pacesetter in the final as he led 7-2 after five ends and although Ruthledge battled back towards the end,, he still came up short, leaving the Cookstown player a deserved winner.
