New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Belfast’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Belfast’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Rocco's Pizza and Treats, at 227 Antrim Road, Belfast was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 25.

And Kanto Asian Fusion, at 137 Stranmillis Road, Belfast was given a score of one on March 27.

It means that of Belfast's 391 takeaways with ratings, 193 (49%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
